Al-Salam Gate… the western gateway to Damascus… will be designed as a historical entrance.
With this project, we blend the richness of history with the progress of the present and a vision for the future.
The Peace Gate arch is 6 meters high and 4 meters wide.
Its entrance consists of two arches, and the wall is 2 meters wide, built of stone blocks.
Each block measures 200 x 100 x 50 cm.
The wall gradually descends from 4 meters to 3 meters, then encircles the entire project.
At a height of 3 meters, an antique-style iron mesh is fixed in the middle between each column along the entire length of the wall.
This encircles the entire project, including the airport and the runway.
The wall columns are built of stone and are solar-powered, as is the runway.
As I mentioned earlier, the passenger terminal is crescent-shaped. The facade rises 6 meters towards the star and 4 meters towards the runway. At the crescent’s ends, on the right, is the Peace Mosque, and on the left, the Peace Church. At its center is the Peace Star, approximately 100 meters away from it. The star is also approximately 100 meters away from the Peace Gate. Parking is located between the Peace Gate and the passenger terminal. Harmonious gardens, trees, and flowers create a breathtaking natural landscape.
At the entrance to the Peace Gate, between the columns of the two arches, will be the foundation stone for the Peace Project.
It will be 2 meters high, 1 meter wide, and 50 centimeters thick, made of yellow stone. Below and above, it will be ordinary stones, each 1 meter high. The stone between them will be the foundation stone of the project. These words are engraved on the foundation stone:
In the era of the conqueror, Ahmed al-Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic,
And under the patronage of the following investors funding the Peace Project in the city of Damascus, whose names are listed below according to their percentage of funding:
1- Mr./ 2- Sheikh/ (The investors’ names are listed according to their percentage of funding).
On the date corresponding to ../../1447 AH, corresponding to ../../2026 AD,
